Development in Grupa Pracuj

At the Grupa Pracuj, development is not only an integral part of our organisational culture, but also a key element of our business strategy. We strive to create a working environment that fosters continuous learning and skill enhancement for all our employees

Our Development Philosophy:
We believe in promoting responsibility for one's own development. Therefore, we offer various development opportunities, in line with the 70/20/10 model, which suggests that 70% of development comes from experiential learning, 20% comes from learning from others, and 10% comes from formal development.

Formal Developmental Actions

We offer a range of development activities, such as: internal and external training, postgraduate studies, coaching sessions, mentoring programmes and the purchase of specialist literature.

Sharing
knowledge

We encourage knowledge sharing through organising meetings, webinars and training sessions, which allow employees to exchange experiences and acquired knowledge.

270/360 Degree Research

We conduct 270 and 360 degree reviews, which provide employees with feedback about their competencies. Following the reviews, a Development Discussion takes place, during which goals and actions for the upcoming year are established.

Career Advisors Programme

We have an internal programme offering our employees support in analysing potential, aspirations and further professional development direction.

Insights Discovery

We utilise the Insights Discovery tool to support personal development and team efficiency through improved understanding of oneself and others.

Career Paths

We are building transparent career paths for various areas of the organisation, presenting both vertical progression opportunities, as well as horizontal development. Our goal is to support employees in planning their individual career paths.

Reskilling

We offer "Internal Recruitment with Reskilling", providing individualised development actions to support employees in transitioning to a new professional role. In 2023, as many as 27 people benefited from the reskilling programme.

Foreign language learning

Thanks to online lessons led by experienced tutors, employees can develop their language skills in an efficient and adaptable way to their pace of work.

Welcome aboard :)

I have an invitation for an interview and what's next

Do you have any advice for me before I start the recruitment process with you?

Every meeting is a new story to discover. Consider how you want to present yourself. Reread the advert and put yourself in our shoes😊.

Remember, an interview is also time for you to learn, to find out more about the role and the tasks that may await you. You too are leading the recruitment process 😊

Is experience a necessary condition to start building my career with you?

Is this your first job and you lack experience in the area we are looking for? No worries!

Tell us about your university tasks, participation in extra projects, engagement in, for example, a science club or student council or volunteer work. This is also experience! 😊

If you have experience, consider how you will talk about it, which situations you will recall and your reactions, so as to present your suitability for the role we are seeking

How to prepare for an online meeting with you?

Your recruitment meeting is going to be online? Here are a few of our tips:

  • Check your equipment before the meeting, which you intend to use.
  • Ensure that your camera and headphones are working well.
  • Make a good impression - turn on your camera and check what background appears behind you 😊.
  • On the day of the meeting, inform your cohabitants about the planned meeting, so as to ensure a comfortable conversation.

Don't stress 😊 Good luck!

How should I prepare for a meeting at your headquarters?

Your recruitment meeting is scheduled at one of our locations (see our locations across Poland)

  • Before the meeting, plan your journey to our office. Allow yourself enough time to arrive approximately 15 minutes before the meeting begins.
  • Make sure you know the full name of the person/people you are meeting - this information will be useful at Reception.
  • Write down the phone number of the Recruiter, so you can warn of any unexpected events that might delay your arrival or problems getting to the Grupa Pracuj office.

You'll do well! 😊 Fingers crossed!

I haven't a clue, how to dress for an interview with you?

Wondering which attire to choose for the meeting?

At Pracuj Group, we go for smart casual. You should feel comfortable, but at the same time, you should probably give up on your tracksuit or pyjamas during the recruitment meeting 😊.

Is the salary stated in the advert open to negotiation?

In our advertisements, we openly present the financial possibilities that we are able to offer. Bear in mind that the final form of the offer is dependent on many factors, such as: experience, the scope of duties previously performed and many others, but the budget isn't stretchable 😊.

Will I receive information about the end of the recruitment process?

We make every effort to ensure that the flow of information between us and you is smooth. The final, positive decision and presentation of the offer is most often conveyed by a Manager. Also, check your mailbox - we often convey information about the end of the process in this way.

What do tests and competency assessments mean during the recruitment process?

Tests and competency assessments are tools that aid in the recruitment process. They provide an excellent source of information for you, highlighting strong areas as well as areas that may serve as a starting point for further growth and professional development. Depending on the needs and the role, we utilise language tests, competency assessments, and recruitment tasks as part of the recruitment process.

How to prepare for an English language test?

An English test with us signifies a professional test using the international CEFR scale.

It helps to determine your level of language proficiency. It consists of several parts (listening, reading, vocabulary, writing). Detailed instructions will be sent via e-mail. After completing it, you will receive a report with information about your results. We conduct these tests during recruitment processes for selected positions.

What should you pay attention to before taking the test?
Please ensure the following:

  • Comfort – choose a quiet, peaceful place.
  • Time – allocate enough time to complete the test (usually around 40 minutes) and plan your tasks in such a way as to complete it by the set deadline.
  • Yourself – try to approach the test with a ‘fresh mind’ 😊

How to prepare for a competency assessment?

This is a test of your predispositions in various abilities (e.g., numerical, verbal). The study indicates areas in which you perform well and those that require development. Detailed instructions will be received via e-mail. After solving, you will receive a report with your result's information.

What should you pay attention to before taking the test?
Take care of:

  • comfort – choose a quiet, calm place
  • time – reserve time to complete the test (it usually takes about 40 minutes) and plan your tasks to complete it by the set deadline
  • yourself – try to take the test with a "fresh head" 😊

I have to prepare a recruitment task and what next?

In some recruitment processes, we'll ask you to solve and present a task. The task is a kind of sample of your work. You present the task during the recruitment meeting and it serves as a starting point for discussion. It's a splendid opportunity to showcase your knowledge and experience in action 😊

Onboarding in the Grupa Pracuj

Company-wide Onboarding

Company-wide onboarding is a process all new hires go through. It consists of two parts: a 2-day in-person onboarding at the headquarters in Warsaw and e-learning. The planned meetings are an opportunity to familiarize oneself with the company's structure, the values we follow at work, the culture of the organisation, work principles, and many other aspects. A priceless value is also the chance to meet colleagues who present information about their departments.

Job Onboarding

Onboarding for specific positions supports buddies - typically this is a person fulfilling a similar or parallel role, who looks after new chaps or lasses, helps acquaint them with the team, and supports the knowledge exchange process.

Quarterly Onboarding

The quarterly onboarding consists of a 1-day online meeting, the purpose of which is to better understand the organisational culture that we are collectively building in the Pracuj Group. We have also prepared e-learning training on the range of developmental activities offered. An additional value of the quarterly onboarding is a meeting with a member of management, with which the new colleagues can share their impressions, observations, and ideas from the first weeks of work, as well as asking questions that are bothering them 😊

Managerial onboarding

The managerial onboarding is organised online for individuals in leadership roles, i.e., those managing teams, and it takes place in the first quarter in a new position. The most important information, necessary tools, and knowledge for effectively managing a team in our company are conveyed.

Reonboarding

As part of returning after a prolonged absence, we invite our male and female employees to the process of reonboarding. It also consists of elements specific to both the entire company and the individual role, supported by the immediate supervisor and a buddy.
